The meaning of 'Nishan'

‘Nishan’ is a Persian word with multiple meanings, one of these being a flag or standard. Nishan symbolizes the sovereign authority of courage of convictions and values that reside with its crusaders. Crusaders have always rallied together under the Nishan (Ensign) to express their solidarity and faith in their cause, and to keep it fluttering high with dignity. As a source of inspiration, we named our organization ‘Nishan’ to symbolise our commitment to upholding rights and justice in society. It is ours, as it is their, commitment of honor and dignity to the Nishan that always flies high, inspiring men to rally together, often in the face of adversity, willing to bestow their ultimate sacrifice for the sake of the cause.
