14th Jan 2011,tour of Police Stations of kurukshetra became an educative journey to get acquainted with the challenges of police officers in their day today working and to associate them with “better Together” initiative.

On the initiative of Kurukshetra district Police chief sh.Sultan Singh,IPS, Supdt. of Police Kurukshetra, the Team Nishan could undertake a whirlwind tour of all the Police Stations of kurukshetra district to acquaint them with the “Better Together” initiative. Sub Inspector Jainarayan from Police Chief’s office proved to be an enlightening associate on this journey. with M.A. in Public Administration and Journalism and LLb from Kurukshetra university, Sub Inspector Jainarayan proved to be the best selection made by the district police chief to be part of this pious journey.
The Team consisting of Federica D’Alessandra, Susana costa, Margherita Brasca, Aridaman Jit Singh & Sub Inspector Jainarayan visited the Police Stations of Ladwa,Pipli,Babain,Shabad,Ismailabad,Jhansa & Pehowa and interacted with the front line police officers of these police stations and the local press. In the coming weeks, joint teams comprising of Bar assocaition members, Police officers and members of Nishan will address the youth in schools and colleges of kurukshetra on Democratic rights and human rights of citizens in a democracy and the role of police.
